Born on Hayling Island, UK in 1985, Chris Burke was already windsurfing and wake boarding when he discovered kiteboarding at the end of 1999. He quickly fell in love with all the possibilities kiteboarding offered and wanted to see how to take it to new levels. A career in the sport was a natural choice for Chris and was an instructor for six years and is now a coach specializing in intermediate to advanced tuition, spearheading clinics around the world.

Born in 1988 on the Isle of Wight in the United Kingdom, Tom Court learned to windsurf at a very early age. In 1999 he was introduced to kiteboarding while visiting Kite Beach, Maui, which turned out to be a pivotal moment in his life and sporting career.

Naish

Gretta Krusie is a National Team Rider for Naish kiteboarding, a leading brand in the kiteboarding, windsurfing, and SUP industries. Gretta's passions are her driving force in life. She believes in leading a sustainable lifestyle and has actively worked in the environmental field for the Coastal Conservation League for the past four years. An accomplished artist, model, and industry spokesperson Gretta actively works to promote women in kiteboarding, surfing, and SUP.

This KPWT and PKRA World Champion of multiple disciplines has brought kitesurfing to the masses with her alluring media presence, two instructional books and a DVD on kitesurfing, and continues to motivate female kiters and athletes around the globe.

Cabrinha

Raised by German windsurfing parents, this stunning 23-year-old from Cabarete, Dominican Republic, has been turning heads with her aggressive riding style and contest results on the pro tour. Susi is one of the most dynamic women in the sport, contributing to its progression not only in the water, but through other outlets as well.

Antigua’s Andre Phillip burst onto the scene in 2003 with top finishes on the pro kiteboard tour. Andre is known worldwide as the king of park and at the forefront of the new school of kiteboarding. He feels at home on rails, sliders, and kickers, throwing as much style into his riding as technical ability. Kiteboarder magazine readers have voted him “#1 Rider of the Year” three years running. He is sponsored by Cabrinha, Kaenon, NPX, and kitescoop.com and has been featured in numerous kiting magazines and videos worldwide.

Takoon, Dakine, Oxbow

Born in Norway in 1981 Tuva has been active in sports all her life with a special interest in watersports. While working in a wake and skate shop in Oslo in 2001, she was first introduced to kiteboarding and has been hooked ever since.

Naish

Madison Van Heurck,  was born and raised in St. Thomas USVI. At 14, he was the youngest competitor on the PKRA tour for nearly 3 years, Madison Van Heurck has grown up with kiting. Born in the US Virgin Islands, he’s traveled a great part of the world, and has seen and taken part in many changes in the sport over the years. Now, 20, and currently studying engineering at Cal Poly, Madison keeps in character with his local US and BVI kite and surf spots: low key, yet packing a punch.

Jeremy Lund is proudly sponsored by “North” Kiteboarding” and is part of their team for a second season. Just a few short years ago Jeremy transitioned from black diamond snow boarder in the Rockies, to the “kid to watch” on South Florida beaches. His interest in kiting began on snow covered fields but he soon realized that the Atlantic was the place to be for year round kiteboarding. Soon after he made Florida his home, Jeremy took home the first place trophy at the “Extreme Jupiter to Ft Lauderdale” 50 mile high seas competition setting new records in the process.
